The duties of the executive committee are to coordinate the review of the executive director and address any board-related matters during the months when the board does not meet.

Responsible for staying up to date on nonprofit issues, working with organizations to identify priorities, establishing legislative agenda to be approved by the board, establishing preliminary positions and strategies, communicate with board on legislative and advocacy issues.

Develops and reviews SDNN's fiscal procedures, fundraising plan, and annual budget with the support of the staff.
Committee Chair: Christina Oey
Monitors SDNN's membership recruitment and retention efforts. Committee reviews current membership benefits and reviews and approves proposed new benefits. Responsible for supporting membership growth by actively recruiting, retaining, and engaging members.
Committee Chair: Beth Massa
Responsible for recommending and developing a slate of nominees for all election of member representative board members, and recommending at-large board candidates and board officer candidates to the full board at the November meeting. This committee also consults on board training and leadership development.
Committee Chair: Janet Kittams
Selects focus area for annual programming, advise in providing technically sound and proficient educational courses and programs that enhance members‘ professional knowledge.

Responsible for gathering and providing information to our members and the public.
