Nonprofit Awards Presented at 2nd Annual South Dakota Nonprofit Network Conference

The South Dakota Nonprofit Network (SDNN) presented awards to two outstanding leaders from within the state at the 2nd Annual SDNN Conference on Thursday, July 28 on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University. Each of the award recipients has had a tremendous impact on the nonprofit sector throughout the state and continue to do important work in this area. Click to read the entire press release.

Submit Nominations for SDNN Board of Director Positions Today

The South Dakota Nonprofit Network (SDNN) will be holding an election of directors and officers at their annual meeting of members to be held in conjunction with the SDNN 2nd Annual Conference. The conference will run from 10 AM - 4 PM CT on Thursday, July 28th on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD with the meeting of members immediately following at 4 PM CT. As part of the growth of the organization, SDNN is seeking nominations for several seats on their board of directors and will elect individuals to these positions at the annual meeting. If you are interested in a seat on the SDNN Board of Directors or would like to nominate someone for this position, please complete the form at the link below by Thursday, July 14th. If you have any questions, please contact david@sdnonprofitnetwork.org.

A Conversation With GrantStation's Founder

Join us for a live and lively discussion about grants research and grant writing with GrantStation's CEO Cynthia Adams. Ms. Adams will talk about how you can be successful even if you're the only person writing proposals, how to find the right grantmakers for your programs and projects, and the importance of crafting a grant strategy around each project that needs funding. Mainly this will be a question and answer session, so bring all of your questions regarding grant seeking, issues you've faced, challenges you can't seem to overcome, etc. and let's talk it through!

SDNN Quarterly Networking Session

The South Dakota Nonprofit Network (SDNN), in collaboration with regional nonprofit networks across the state, is excited to host their second quarterly networking session. SDNN is holding this event for all nonprofits (regardless of if they are SDNN members or not). Join us on Thursday, September 29th from 9:00-10:15 AM CT via Zoom. This session will provide several breakout rooms for individuals to build their network and learn more about the great work others from across the state are doing.
